Flowercomb is a soft hexagonal wire netting made from pure copper. It has been specifically tested for use in flower arrangements.

Flowercomb is used in the same way as traditional wire netting in flower arranging.  That is by forming a structural base for your arrangement by shaping your Flowercomb® into a nest with several layers for your stems to pass through.

Flowercomb® is made of pure copper that has been formed into thin wire and woven into a hexagonal mesh

Pure copper wire is antirust but will oxidise over time - you can bring the original shine and colour back by running with fresh lemon and salt.

Structurally, pure copper is durable but individual strands will eventually break through continual manipulation - a process called 'work hardening' which makes the strands of pure copper more brittle.

Our own durability testing has shown an individual strand is resistant to around nineteen 180 degree bends.  This is generally not the type of bend in flower arrangements and is to stress test the product.

You can of course continue to use Flowercomb® if an individual strand snaps by by simply reweaving to an intact strand of Flowercomb®.

You can also send it back to us free of change for pure copper recycling.
